Trial Day and Beginners Class - 2023

Hey, do you want to learn how to fight like a samurai? Then you should join us for a FREE kendo trial session!

Kendo is a martial art that uses bamboo swords and protective armor. It's a great way to improve your fitness, focus and discipline. And it's also super fun!

We are inviting everyone who is curious about kendo to come and try it out at our dojo. You don't need any experience or equipment, just bring some comfy clothes and a positive attitude. We will provide you with a shinai (bamboo sword) and a bokuto (oak sword) for the session.

Here's the plan:

  • 9:45 - Meet and greet

  • 10:00 - Learn the basics of kendo

  • 11:00 - Wrap up and Q&A

But wait, there's more! You will also get to see a kyu grading by our current members. This is where they show their skills and level up in kendo. It's very impressive and inspiring to watch.

The trial session will take place at Kenseikai Dojo (Kastelsvej 58, 2100 KBH Ø. Indgang K). It's FREE of charge and open to anyone who is 13 years old or older. We can speak both Danish and English, so don't worry about the language barrier.

If you enjoy the trial session and want to continue learning kendo, we have a special offer for you. You can join our beginner class for free for the whole month of October. That's right, no fees, no strings attached. Just pure kendo goodness.

We hope to see you soon at our dojo!
